Bobby Brown and Mike Tyson getting primal. This is some pretty funny shit!

Maybe we didn't get lucky

Monday, November 28, 2005 by Darkness

Officials say two touchdowns by Giants were anything but completed passes.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2239970

So fuck all the commentators that say we stole a game. I would like to say that I was the first person at Qwest Field to call BS on Shockey's TD. So props to me. And thanks to the Seahawks for not replaying the game tying TD on the jumbotron. Cockgobblers!

I Swear I've Seen This Before...?

Anyone remember Nate Robinson's shot at the end of overtime to win the game at Oregon State 2 years ago? Watch this video...

Return of the Reignman?

Monday, November 21, 2005 by Bobby

I just watched a KOMO 4 Special Report with Shawn Kemp. He lives in Seattle and for the last 6 months he has been in Houston working with a trainer. He has cleaned up, worked out and was really thin, he had lost 55 lbs and he was dunking really well. Dare I say it? He's 36 years old but would be better than Danny Fortson!

Sly. Very Sly.

Looks like the Mariners have locked up this guy.

In this installment of Where Are They Now? we turn to an old friend.

The Apple Cup, in a Single Snapshot...

7 Husky defenders in the background. Tackling drills, anybody? Oh, and by the way, don't fight with the winners of the game. Remember 2002? We did the same thing.

This is going to be One for the Ages!

2-8 UW
wins over Idaho, Arizona

v. 3-7 WSU
wins over Idaho, Nevada, Grambling

WSU had the most bullshit non-conference schedule, they should be embarrased of themselves! The Pac-10 should sanction them for not playing a full season.

*PREDICTION* UW 83-WSU 2

Who wants the +/- of my point total?

So, Fox has essentially decided to cancel the best show on television. What a crock of shit.

W-Worse that can happen is can I spill some on my $3,000 suit. Come on! Oh, yeah, yeah. The guy in the... the $4,000 suit is holding the elevator for a guy who doesn’t make that in three months. Come on! Oh. Why don’t I just take a whiz through this $5,000 suit?!

I Am a God Warrior!

by Colby

For those of you who didn't see it (or who were comatose throughout the commercials during the baseball playoffs), Trading Spouses on Fox had one crazy chick on their show. Here are some highlights of her Chernobyl-Style meltdown at the end of the show as she's relating her experience with the other family to her own.

To commerate this great moment in television history, some dude on eBay decided to make a talking bobblehead of her. As you all know, I have a thing for the bobbleheads, so be sure to pool your money and get me this for Christmas.

Good Football Weekend!

Sunday, November 13, 2005 by Bobby

It has been a long, long, long time since both our teams won in the same weekend! Guys, do we dare start dreaming of the Superbowl?!?

Go Hawks!!!!!!!!!!

It's Apple Cup Week!

by Colby

Sure, the game may have lost some of it's luster over the past couple of years, but who cares? This one's for state bragging rights. UW's riding a 1-game winning streak, WSU seems like they can't keep from Coug'ing every Pac-10 game away.

WSU's out of conference schedule? Nevada, Idaho and Grambling - If we had played that same schedule, we'd have 1 more win, so don't believe the hype - they're having just as bad a season as we are.

Pat Robertson is Still an Asshole

Friday, November 11, 2005 by Colby

Just when you thought that Pat Robertson couldn't piss anybody else off or make a stupid comment...

In response to Dover, Pennsylvania voters ousting each and every school board member who favors 'Intelligent Design:'

...if there is a disaster in your area, don't turn to God, you just rejected Him from your city.

... just remember, you just voted God out of your city. And if that's the case, don't ask for His help because he might not be there.

Here's to hoping no tsunamis hit Dover. I'm crossing my fingers.

Ginger Kids

This is sadder than a Gulf Coast hurricane.

A father-to-be paces up and down the corriders of the maternity unit when the midwife suddenly bursts through the doors of the delivery room.
"Your baby has been delivered sir, but I'm afraid there's some good news and bad news..." "Oh my god!" says the father, "whats the bad news?!?"
"Well, I'm afraid your baby has been born ginger.." says the midwife. "Bloody hell!!" screams the father in horror, "what the hell can the good news possibly be then!!"
"Well, fortunately sir..." explains the delighted midwife "...your child was also born dead!!"

Does anyone see a problem with this paragraph?

The Seattle Monorail Project has taken heat since it proposed a 50-year $11.4 billion financing plan in June, including $9 billion in interest on low-grade bonds - more than four times the project's estimated price tag.

Amber from the SeaGals may have been on "Are You Hot," but she never did anything like this, did she?

As an FYI, the links for the girls are here and here.

UPDATE: Mug shots of the girls and police paperwork from the incident are available from The Smoking Gun.

HUSKIES LOSE

Saturday, November 05, 2005 by Brian

Call it an educated guess.

Good to see Stanbeck get his ass beat and fumble inside the red zone. Haven't seen that before this season.

Good. Beavers make a 4th down conversion. apparently, they were 14 for 16 for those this season. Unfortunately, they didn't have a stat for huskies defense.

What do you think, Colby?

I dislike this idea.

Initiative 901

Tuesday, November 01, 2005 by prewett

So this is the first time I have seen coverage on the smoking ban in Washington. It's a piece of shiite, once again the 'brilliant' people of washington have over engineered a good idea into one that will either:

a) not get passed
b) shut down all cigar lounges outside smoking.

Can't we have someone write up a reasonable initiative? Or better yet have our state legislators actually do their job and pass something on their own?

What I take issue to is the 25 foot rule from doors and windows and not having any exemptions for separate rooms (like Blair's favorite room in Fox Sports).
